Thisis a very interesting activity we can start trying. I obtained and addapted the information from this site: http://esl.about.com/od/writinglessonplans/a/l_wwshop1.htm
We can follow the directions and share the information among ourselves. Each student can start and follow the lines already written. This can give us a different way of writing a task. Each student will take a number and do the task.
- Student number one: Choose a short story that is familiar to you and your classmates. Share the name and the site.
- Student number two: Answer the questions below:
- Who are the main characters of the story?
- Is there a moral to the story? If yes, what do you think it is?
- What did you learn from the story?
4. Student number four: Develop a body paragraph by giving details. Remember that body paragraphs should develop the central idea
5. Student number five: Begin the summary paragraph by restating the principal idea of the body paragraph.
5. Student number six: Read the whole task and give your opinion and how you could improve it. Remember that criticizing is not the goal..
HI Julia,
ResponderEliminarI'd love a story starter to get me going! I used some stories from National Public Radio which sponsored a contest recently called 3-minute fiction. Check it out! http://www.npr.org/series/105660765/three-minute-fiction
And congratulations on your blog!
